Privacy Policy
Your file content is not stored or shared. We compute a cryptographic fingerprint (hash) to create a timestamp; only the hash is anchored on blockchain. Basic usage and billing data may be collected to operate the service.
What We Collect
- File Hashes: We process a SHA-256 hash of your file locally in your browser. The hash is sent to OpenTimestamps calendar servers for blockchain anchoring.
- Usage Data: We log anonymous usage statistics (proof created/verified events) to improve the service. No personally identifiable information is collected.
- Email Addresses: If you sign up for our waitlist, your email is processed through Formspree and stored for communication purposes only.
What We Don't Store
Your original file content is never uploaded or stored on our servers. All file processing happens locally in your browser. We only handle the cryptographic hash.
Third-Party Services
- OpenTimestamps: Hashes are submitted to OpenTimestamps calendar servers for Bitcoin blockchain anchoring.
- Formspree: Email waitlist submissions are processed through Formspree.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect any data we process. Since we don't store your files, there's no risk of file content exposure from our service.
